JOIN US FOR OUR FALL EVENT IN PASADENA, CA
Over the past four years, the team of changemakers at Community First has worked tirelessly to bring aquaponics, an off-soil, and drought resistant agricultural technique to the remote villages of northwestern Cambodia. Thanks to the support of Rotary Clubs of the greater Pasadena area, several families are now able to farm both fresh produce and fish year-round, without having to worry about floods or droughts.
In a country where 40% of the children have their cognitive and motor abilities impaired because of malnutrition, this social innovation changes lives in the long run. Today, Community First's network of aquaponic farmers are able to provide for their family like never before. On October 25th, our long-time supporters, donors, and friends will be gathering at the Valley Hunt Club in Pasadena to celebrate the many bountiful harvests of these families and the event proceeds will go towards the training of more aquaponic farmers.
So come and join us from 5:30PM to 7PM and learn about aquaponics, see it in action in the villages with a preview of our latest web-series and meet likeminded people at the unique and exclusive venue that is the Valley Hunt! And you will get a chance to go home with some world-famous Kampot pepper from Cambodia. Appetizers will be served and beer & wine and mixed drinks will be available for purchase.
